Chicago’s architecture is AMAZING; we learned on today’s walking tour that Chicago is the epicenter of America’s architecture. Since most of the city’s buildings were destroyed by the Great Chicago Fire in 1871 (remember Mr’s Oleary’s cow?) the city’s buildings are noted for their originality and style rather than their antiquity. My wife and I are here for a few days visiting the city with some good friends.
