Budapest’s Széchenyi Chain Bridge

Budapest's Széchenyi Chain Bridge

At dusk the iconic bridge, as viewed from the hillside of the grand Hapsburg palace on the Buda side of the Danube River, is breathtaking. It offers a sweeping panorama of the more populous Pest side with its bustling bars, cafés and restaurants. The dome in the background is Budapest’s magnificent St. Stephen’s basilica, completed in 1905.

About FotoVentures Photo-Graphic Art

I have had a passion for photography since first using my Dad’s 35 mm camera as a teenager. The amazing digital innovations that have revolutionized the photographic arts in recent years have only served to heighten my passion for the art form. Modern digital photography, along with the use of the basic principles of color, composition, and design afford today’s photographers endless artistic expression. Each photograph is part of a process, the result of research, experimentation, persistence, accident, and luck. More recently in a search, for new markets for my photography, I have started writing short articles wrapping them around my photography for publication. You can see more of my work at www.fotoventures.net.
